Our workshops are not for experienced photographers. To participate, you should have a basic understanding of photography and how your camera works. We emphasize the basics because we don’t want any gaps to hinder your enthusiasm. The goal of our workshops is to teach the style and technique of reportage photography. StoryWorks’ photography travel groups come from all age groups. Sometimes, reaching the places where we’ve found the most interesting stories requires a bit of adaptability, curiosity, and a sense of adventure. That’s why our participants share two great passions: photography and adventure travel!

You will need digital photographic equipment (DSLR or mirrorless cameras) with lenses and a laptop (with Adobe or similar editing software installed) for the editing sessions.

Each participant will need to independently reach the destination by the time indicated in the workshop schedule. Of course, Ilaria is always available to provide assistance, suggestions, or advice to help you plan your journey effectively. Contact us for more information.

In the details of each workshop, you will find specific information. In addition to this, you will not only have our constant private support, but a few days before the departure, we will create a WhatsApp group to exchange the latest information and tips to have everything under control.

You can simply book the workshop through the contact form found within each of our proposals and communicate the recipient’s name in the message. This way, we can prepare a PDF voucher that you can personalize with your own message of well-wishes. The recipient will not see any information regarding the price, and we will only contact them once they have received it to arrange the final details.

Insurance is not included in the cost of our trips, but for peace of mind, we always recommend purchasing it, especially for workshops that take place outside of Italy.

Specific information can be found within each workshop. In general, a deposit is required to confirm the reservation, with the balance due shortly before departure. Payments can be made via bank transfer or Satispay.

We want to be as flexible as possible, but to ensure the departure of the photography journey for all participants, we must set a date after which refunds are no longer possible. All payment and refund details can be found within each workshop, but for any specific needs, you can always contact us via the form, email, or WhatsApp: we will try to meet your requirements.

In the event of cancellation by StoryWorks, the travel fee will be fully refunded or transferred to another workshop of the participant’s choice.
